Keep your login details to yourself

Do not provide your username and password for My OV-chip to apps, other websites or other people. You then run the risk that other people will not handle your details carefully. If you do provide your username and password to other people, they will be able to access all your personal details, such as your name, address and bank account number. These details can be used for other purposes (e.g. commercial purposes) or your details could be changed. We recommend that you change your login details so that other people do not have access to your account.

Use different passwords/usernames

We recommend that you use different username and password combinations on different sites. This will prevent third parties from being able to access your account with the same combination. You can find a guide on how to create a strong and unique password here.
