Service Point Locator
You can use the Service Point Locator to locate OV-chipkaart service points across the Netherlands. At these points, you can load credit onto your card or pick up orders from the webshop. Simply use the service points finder to find one near you.
From July 1, 2026: anonymous OV-chip cards will no longer be available for purchase
From 1 July 2026, you can no longer buy an anonymous OV-chipkaart. Do you still have one? You can continue to use it as usual. Has your card been lost or expired? Then you can continue travelling with OVpay. Simply check in and out using the new OV-pas or your payment card.
Fewer service points
Since 2025, there have been fewer ticket machines in shops. Do you need a machine? Check the service point finder in advance to see if there’s still one near you.
Or switch to OVpay — then you no longer need to visit a machine.
NS subscription or student travel product?
Do you have an NS subscription or a student travel product? For now, continue using your OV-chipkaart. Travelling with a different subscription or travel product? Check ovpay.nl to see if you can already switch to OVpay.
